Give STL Day: Burgers & Brews for Mental Health with Provident Behavioral Health

Give STL Day, happening on May 8th, is a powerful annual fundraising event hosted by the St. Louis Community Foundation, supporting local nonprofits. One of the participating organizations this year is Provident Behavioral Health, which provides mental health services, including counseling, psychiatric care, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention programs. Provident works closely with and is supported by Team Jakey End The Stigma, a community-driven initiative dedicated to raising awareness and eliminating stigma around mental health struggles.

To further its mission, Provident has partnered with:

  • Beffa’s (May 4th–May 10th), where 10% of smashburger sales will go directly to Provident.

  • Harvey’s Coffee and Cocktails (May 8th), where all proceeds from drip coffee will be donated to Provident.

These collaborations highlight the importance of mental health advocacy while engaging the community in a tangible way. By supporting these local businesses during the designated dates, patrons contribute to life-changing resources that help individuals in crisis.

If you're looking to amplify this initiative, sharing Provident’s promotional posts or integrating this campaign into your own outreach could make a meaningful impact. With Team Jakey End The Stigma actively championing mental health awareness, this effort strengthens the collective push for accessible and stigma-free support.
